SEWING MACHINE OPERATOR / CUSTOMER SERVICE

FULL TIME - Monday through Friday
$12.50 per hour (starting pay $11.00, with $1.50 raise after satisfactory completion of sewing machine operator training program)


No Experience Required. On Job training will be provided. Job Includes other manufacturing duties as required, occasionally answering phones & customer e-mail.

Job Includes operating a Forklift, Sewing Machine, and other Textile Fabrication equipment. If hired, you will eventually be trained on most of this equipment and will be required to operate most of these machines if, and when needed.

This job includes providing Customer Service via Telephone, E-mail, and Online Texting / "Chat", also packing customer orders for shipping, and other shop keeping duties as required.

All applicants must speak English clearly without a heavy accent, and also understand, read and write English.

Additionally This job also requires you to occasionally deliver packages to the local post office; therefore you must own a vehicle and permit us to make copies of your Valid Texas Drivers License, Current Vehicle Registration Document, and Valid Auto Insurance card. If hired, you will be compensated fairly for the use of your vehicle for company business.

We will not hire anyone who does NOT have the following: a Driver's License, a functioning, and properly registered & insured vehicle, that they drive to work on a daily basis.

Physical fitness requirements: Job requires walking in excess of 1 - 2 miles per day (indoors, mostly air conditioned areas), climbing stairs to access upper floor storage areas, and frequently moving or dragging materials weighing 60 lbs. distances of 15 feet.

Work environment / corporate culture: Casual dress code - dress for comfort and safety: Job does not include face-to-face customer contact. Interaction with all customers is by phone and e-mail only. Access controlled facility not open to general public, confidentiality agreement must be signed by all personnel prior to entering facility, active industrial security program in place. Former work experience with DOD / Security Clearance is a plus.
